Shared Line Groups: Turn off Receive Calls
Overview
A Shared Line Group (SLG) allows a group of Zoom Phone users or Common Area Phones to use a shared extension, with the ability to see it listed as a separate extension.
- Members of the shared line group have access to the group's direct phone number and voicemail.
- Members are added to the shared line group by ITS.
- Shared lines can have custom business, closed, and holiday hours and routing rules, which are managed by ITS.
- Shared line groups are used for departmental lines that need to be answered by one or more members via a desk phone, who do not have a Zoom Phone account - or include a common area phone.
