Automatically Launch Zoom on Startup (macOS and Windows)

How to make Zoom automatically open when computer starts

To have Zoom phone open automatically when you login to your computer, follow the directions below to launch Zoom on startup. Once configured, the Zoom desktop client will automatically launch each time you restart or turn on your computer.

macOS

Set Zoom to Open at Login

Launch the Zoom application on your Mac.
Press and hold the Control key on your keyboard.
Click on the Zoom icon in the dock (shown in Fig 3 below).
Hover over Options.
Select Open at Login.
Release the Control key.

Windows

Set option to Start Zoom when I start Windows

Launch the Zoom application on your computer (not the Zoom link on The Dash).
Go to Settings (gear icon), shown in Fig 1 below.

- Note: Opens to the General settings menu.
Select Start Zoom when I start Windows. This will reveal the option to Silently start Zoom when I start Windows.
Optional: Select Silently start Zoom when I start Windows if you want Zoom to launch in the background (shown in Fig 2 below).

Close the Settings window. Your change is saved automatically.
