Accounts for Tri-Co students taking classes at Swarthmore
Tri-Co students enrolled in a Swarthmore course will receive a Swarthmore account for that semester. Account access is on a semester by semester basis, and will end when the term is rolled (term ends).
How to get an account
After a Tri-Co student formally registers in a Swarthmore course, and email will be sent will be sent with instructions for setting up an acount. Account access is by semester, so the email may not come until the semester official starts. For more information about setting up your account, go to Tri-Co Students.
Duration of account
Account for Tri-Co students taking classes at Swarthmore college are deactivated at the end of the semester. Accounts are only active for the duration of the semester in which a Tri-Co student is enrolled. The Registrar rolls the semester after all grades are due.
Can I keep my account if taking another class the next semester?
Account access for Tri-Co students taking classes are on a semester basis. They end at the end of each semester. If a Tri-Co student takes more than one class, their Swarthmore account will reactivate at the beginning of the next term in which they are registered for a course. Swarthmore accounts will be terminated at the end of each semester.
Extending account
Account extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis. If a student is doing research with a professor, the professor may contact the Registrar to request an account exension for the student. For more information, go to Extending Account Access.
