How to order Paper and Toner for Canon Copier / Printer?
Departments order toner from Canon. Toner and paper orders go through the purchasing portal. Canon is one of the vendors available through the purchasing portal.
ITS does not supply paper or toner for departmental printers.
What to do with empty Canon toner cartridges?
Mail empty toner cartridges back to Canon for recycling.
- Go to Canon site and select Print Label.
- Select Printer Type (ImageRUNNER or ImageRUNNER ADVANCED).
- Enter in your information and campus address
- Click REVIEW INFO
- Click GET PRE-PAID RETURN LABEL

ITS does not recycle or replace Canon toner cartridges for departmental printers.
When to contact Canon for support?
Contact Canon for hardware-related issues. Call Canon for repeated paper jams and other issues.
Contact ITS for issues with connecting to the printer, print jobs not going through, and scanning to email.
How to contact Canon for support?
The number to contact Canon Service is located on the top of the copier. Look for a sticker on top of the Canon device or next to the glass, under the paper feed.
Call the 800 listed for Service (1-800-355-1385).
How to find the Serial Number?
The serial number may be needed when contacting Canon for support.
Use the LCD screen to find the serial number
- Press the 123 button located below the STOP button
- Serial number will be listed with the information that appears on the next screen
- The printer model will also be listed on that screen
Check the physical label on the top of the Canon printer
The label lists the serial number, along with contact numbers for Service and Supplies.
