Mobility Print is a software that makes installing and printing to network printers easy without requiring complex driver installations. Additionally, like the name suggests, this new software allows printing from mobile devices such as iOS and Android. Currently, Mobility Print is available for Swarthmore Dorm and public area printers including Shane Lounge, and the three libraries. Installing Mobility Print on iOS
- Connect to eduroam network
- Visit: http://restech.swarthmore.edu:9163/setup (or scan the QR Code below)
- Follow the on-screen prompts to download the Mobility Print Profile
- Install the profile in Settings. If not redirected, you can get to the setting by navigating to:
- Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > Configuration Profile
- You are now ready to print. Open a file on the phone that you'd like to print. Click Print. You should now see the full list of dorm printers as well as the Garnet Print queue.
Installing Mobility Print on Android
- Connect to eduroam
- Visit: http://restech.swarthmore.edu:9163/setup (or scan the QR Code below)
- Follow the on-screen prompt to install the Mobility Print app from the Google Play store
- Confirm that Mobility Print is enabled in Print Services & notifications are turned on
- You are now ready to print. Open a file on the phone that you'd like to print. Click Print. You should now see the full list of dorm printers as well as the Garnet Print queue.
